Food and Beverage Manager (Milton)

Chudleigh’s Entertainment Farm was established in 1967, and since then, we’ve been all about promoting farming to the mainstream. Over the years, our farm has evolved beyond “pick your own fruit” to include a fantastic live entertainment area, a retail store, a fully licensed restaurant, and many exciting events. Three generations later, we continue this tradition, entertaining thousands of guests each year. Availability: Mid-May until November 1st. Qualifications: - Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays - 2+ years previous management experience leading a full-service high-volume restaurant - Minimum grade 12 education, additional education or certifications in hospitality management is a plus - Possess proven leadership abilities - Demonstrated knowledge of financial and operational management - Must possess strong leadership skills, with demonstrated ability to build relationships and manage staff at all levels - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Energetic and positive - Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and good stress management License/Certifications: - Smart Serve (required) - Food Handler Certification - First Aid Certification (preferred) Key Responsibilities: - Provide and maintain a positive, safe, and energetic environment where all staff work as a highly functioning team - Monitor staff performance and hold staff accountable for their performance ensuring guests’ experiences meet the highest standards - Review and monitor staffing levels and overall front and back of house schedules to ensure labour forecasts are being met weekly and daily - Ongoing training and development for staff at all levels - Fill in where needed and/or find coverage; must be able to work all roles to ensure guest experience is not affected during scheduling conflicts - Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. - Manage customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner Job Type: Full-time Advantages: - Discounted or free food - On-site parking Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2nxya9
