General Labor (Milton)

We are hiring General Labor associates for our client based in Milton, Ontario. Pay Rate: $17.60 per hour, weekly pay, every Friday! Direct deposit (only SIN no Cash) Shift: Day Shift - Monday to Friday | 7:00 am – 3:00 pm Job responsibilities: - Unpacks products from cardboard boxes (e.g. chocolate, coffee, bar soap, laundry soap, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, clothing, shoes etc.). - Performs hand assembly functions on an assembly line by unpacking and repacking products into boxes or displays. - Transport raw materials finished products and equipment throughout plant manually or using powered equipment. - Make boxes and displays, apply stickers/labels to the product as they move along conveyor belt. - May be required use a glue gun/stick to close/seal repackaged boxes. - May use a handheld heat gun to remove wrinkles from shrink wrapped product. - May be required to pack pallets with finished products. - As directed, cleans up work area at the end of the shift. - Other duties as required. Education & Experience: - High School Diploma or Equivalent - Basic understanding of reading, and writing, English. Physical Requirements & Work Setting: - Primarily works in a factory and/or warehouse setting - Lifting up to 50lbs on a regular basis - Standing for long periods of time - Stooping, walking, and lifting on a regular basis - Must be able to drive as facility is not bus accessible - CSA approved steel toe shoes - Must be able to pass Canadian criminal background check Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2nyc25
