Kindergarten Teacher (Milton)

Suffah Academy of Learning is an Islamic elementary school located in Milton. We aim to provide students with a protected and inclusive learning environment that fosters excellence in education, character, and leadership development while building a strong foundation. We are currently looking for a qualified, energetic Early Childhood Educator for JK/SK students for a permanent, full-time position. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: - Greeting parents and students - Looking after children and acknowledging, as well as, meeting their needs - Conduct activities that involve child growth and help them get accustomed to the school environment - Take every child’s environment, learning style, and background into consideration - Be in constant contact with parents regarding the child’s progress - Participate in all school events and take an initiative to run and support school programs - Displays a high level of professionalism at all times - Is creative, caring, and is willing to learn and implement the most innovative and effective methods of teaching - Performs other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS: - ECE diploma or OCT license (non-licensed candidates will not be considered) - 2-5 years working in the childcare field Job Types: Full-time, Contract Job Type: Full-time Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour Benefits: - Paid time off Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2oazfb
