Mechanic with Fleet Maintenance Experience, Milton

Secure a position as a Mechanic with the Town of Milton, on a 12-month contract. This role requires a commitment to maintaining optimal vehicle performance and safety within municipal operations.

The Town is looking for a reliable Mechanic with a strong background in fleet maintenance. You will be responsible for conducting inspections, diagnostics, and repairs of various municipal vehicles and equipment. A minimum of two years’ experience and a valid 310T Truck and Coach Mechanic Certificate are essential for this role. You will also handle maintenance documentation and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:• Execute regular inspections and maintenance tasks • Document maintenance history and work orders • Manage parts ordering and maintain inventory • Provide troubleshooting support for vehicle systems • Execute field service when necessary

Requirements:• Relevant diploma in mechanics or engineering • Minimum two years of experience in fleet repair • Clean Ontario Class G driver’s license • Valid 310T certificate • Competence in using diagnostic tools
