Electrician (Certified), Milton

Job Responsibilities

To repair and troubleshoot equipment and machinery efficiently, safely, and in accordance with the electrical codes.

Minimum Requirements

Certified Electrician (442A)

Minimum five years’ experience in an industrial environment, preferably automotive or fast‑paced.

Physically capable of performing essential duties of the job.

Experience working at heights and in confined spaces.

Previous experience with stamping presses, industrial robots, MIG welders, and laser cutting operation.

Good interpersonal and communication skills; results oriented.

Exemplary attitude toward housekeeping, safety, and company policies.

Commitment to continuous improvement and workplace safety.

Basic computer skills.

Job Specific Responsibilities

Understand and read all schematics and drawings associated with the trade.

Build new machinery and equipment with minimum supervision.

Troubleshoot active and new machinery and equipment with minimum supervision.

Commit to continuous improvement on machinery, equipment, processes, and PM system.

Basic PLC and troubleshooting.

Train apprentices in all aspects of machine and equipment repair and safety.

General Responsibilities

Use all equipment and machinery related to the trade requirements.

Meet schedules set by Maintenance Team leaders.

Work within the guidelines of the Deco Employee Handbook.

Adhere to IATF16949&ISO14001 awareness and adherence.

Accept personal responsibility to plan and conduct work safely in compliance with Occupational Health&Safety Act and company policies.

Ensure good housekeeping in your area.

Salary Hourly Wage: $48.00/hr; 40 hour weeks; overtime eligible.
