Landscape Maintenance Crew Lead (Milton)

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and motivated Landscape Maintenance Crew Lead to oversee and execute landscape projects and daily maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical knowledge in horticulture and landscape care, and the ability to supervise a team effectively. This role is vital in ensuring high-quality landscape environments for our clients while maintaining safety and efficiency on all job sites. Duties - Lead and supervise a team of landscape maintenance workers, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to company standards - Perform landscape maintenance activities including mowing, trimming, planting, pruning, and fertilizing - Clean drivers abstract - Apply horticultural practices to maintain healthy gardens and landscapes - Oversee construction-related tasks such as installing new plantings, hardscaping, or other landscape features - Ensure safety protocols are followed during all operations and maintain a safe work environment - Coordinate schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress of crew members throughout projects - Communicate effectively with clients to understand project requirements and provide updates on work status Qualifications - Proven experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, horticulture, or related fields - Supervising or leadership experience in a landscaping or construction environment - Strong knowledge of irrigation systems and troubleshooting techniques - Familiarity with landscape construction practices and hardscaping installation - Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively - Ability to perform physically demanding tasks outdoors in various weather conditions - Good organizational skills with attention to detail in project execution - Valid driver’s license preferred; ability to operate landscaping equipment safely is a plus This position offers an opportunity to lead dynamic landscape projects while utilizing your expertise in horticulture, irrigation, and construction.
