Hiring cleaners (Milton)

Overview We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented cleaners to join our team. This role is vital in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of various facilities. Ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic, excellent time management skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality cleaning services. Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. Duties - Perform thorough cleaning of commercial and industrial spaces using hand tools, power tools, and cleaning supplies - Operate facilities maintenance equipment to ensure optimal facility conditions - Use custodial equipment to clean floors, windows, restrooms, and common areas - Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing attention and perform necessary repairs or maintenance tasks - Handle heavy lifting of supplies and equipment safely and efficiently - Maintain a clean and organized work workplace throughout shifts - Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and report issues - Adhere to safety protocols and proper use of tools during all cleaning activities - Kitchens, washrooms , bedrooms etc Qualifications - Prior experience in commercial / residential cleaning, custodial work, or facilities maintenance is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidates - MUST HAVE A CAR - Background check - Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment is preferred - Strong time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts - Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks regularly throughout the day - Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interactions - Demonstrated reliability with a strong work ethic and attention to detail - Ability to follow safety procedures diligently and maintain a professional attitude at all times Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Pay: $16.00-$23.92 per hour Benefits - Flexible schedule Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2otkhb
