Maintenance Technician (Milton)

Position Details: - Position: Maintenance Technician - Location: Milton, ON L9T 5C3 - Shift: Day Shift - Pay Rate: $25–$28/hr - Industry: Heavy Industrial Job Responsibilities: - Install, inspect, test, repair, and maintain industrial and building equipment, focusing on electrical and electronic systems - Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment - Design, build, assemble, modify, and install electrical controls and systems - Perform preventative maintenance duties according to TPM schedules - Maintain service equipment, work areas, tool crib, and spare parts inventory - Support quality department by performing functional tests and final mechanical inspections - Coordinate contractors’ work permits and train them on Eaton safety requirements - Assist with machinery movement and shop floor layout activities as required Required Qualifications: - High School Diploma/GED required - Minimum 2 years of general maintenance experience - Must be legally authorized to work in Canada - Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs - Candidate must reside within 80 km radius of Milton - Robust troubleshooting and problem-solving skills - Ability to read blueprints/drawings and wiring schematics - Good communication skills with office staff, production teams, and contractors - Proficient with Microsoft Office Preferred Qualifications: - 309A or 442A License preferred - Forklift driving experience - Experience with fabrication and production machinery - HVAC knowledge - Experience with air compressor systems, pumps, and industrial trucks/scissor lift equipment - Mechanical aptitude with industrial equipment maintenance and repair Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2p244i
