Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Dispatchers to join our team. In this vital role, you will coordinate freight movement, optimize transportation planning, and ensure seamless communication across our fleet and supply chain operations. Your expertise in dispatching, logistics, and transportation management systems will drive efficiency and support our commitment to excellence. What You’ll Do: - Dispatch highway trucks efficiently - Dispatch City Trucks efficiently - Communicate with drivers (phone/Samsara) - Schedule pickups/deliveries and update TMS (Fleet Manager, Excel) - Manage trailer and yard activity - Provide real-time updates to customers (BluJay, E2Open, etc.) - Resolve service issues quickly and professionally - Manage 90% dedicated freight - Maintain proactive communication with drivers for optimal planning Problem-Solving & Coordination - Broker loads when needed - Resolve service issues quickly and accurately - Locate equipment and update safety information - Complete driver trips and maintain accurate order entry in Fleet Manager - Communicate clearly with customers regarding loads and updates - Track and trace shipments, update arrival/departure times in carrier portals What You Bring: We’re seeking candidates with robust industry knowledge, professionalism, and initiative. - Minimum 3 years of dispatch or planning experience – REQUIRED - Strong computer skills: MS Outlook, Excel, Word - Proficiency in Fleet Manager is essential - Ability to thrive under pressure in a team environment - Excellent knowledge of GTA and Quebec geography - Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking abilities - Customer-focused, goal-driven attitude - Leadership, adaptability, courtesy, and strong communication skills - Ability to handle stress and make confident decisions Please ONLY apply if you have more than 3 years of credible experience.
