This position is mainly for Friday and Saturday shifts from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM each week, with the possibility of additional shifts during the week based on business needs, events, and availability.The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This role will support daily restaurant service, buffet service, prep, and event production.### **Responsibilities*** Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards* Assist with buffet, à la carte, and event food production* Complete daily prep lists and communicate any shortages* Set up, stock, and maintain assigned stations* Cook proteins, vegetables, starches, soups, sauces, and other menu items as needed* Follow properfood handling, cooling, reheating, and storage procedures* Maintain a clean and organized work area* Follow health and safety standards at all times* Assist with receiving, rotation, labeling, and storage of food products* Work as part of a team during busy service periods* Help with cleaning duties and end-of-shift close down### **Requirements*** Previous cooking or kitchen experience preferred* Must be available **every Friday and Saturday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM*** Ability to work in a fast-paced environment* Strong communication and teamwork skills* Reliable, punctual, and professional*Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs when needed* Food Handler Certification is an asset* Must be willing to follow recipes, portion standards, and kitchen procedures**Reason for vacancy:** Replacement**Pay Rate:** $23.02/hour during probation and $24.02/hour after probation#J-18808-Ljbffr
