About the role: Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, the Inside Sales Distributor Associate is responsible for managing distributor sample opportunities, following up to drive conversions, and supporting distributor relationships to generate sales growth. This role plays a key part in influencing purchasing decisions through product expertise and consistent follow‑up.
Location: Acton ON Canada
Responsibilities:
Follow up on distributor sample requests to convert opportunities into sales
Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and support end users with product recommendations
Advise customers on appropriate glove solutions for specific applications
Manage and grow small distributor accounts as a primary point of contact
Collaborate with Key Account Managers and Territory Managers to drive business opportunities
Present solutions, handle objections, and close sales opportunities effectively
Support clearance and legacy product strategies through alternative sales channels
Maintain accurate documentation and activity tracking in CRM (Salesforce)
Identify opportunities for face‑to‑face or virtual meetings to strengthen relationships
Participate in ongoing projects, training, and continuous improvement initiatives
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of sales experience, including relationship management and closing sales cycles
Post secondary education in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or related field
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Highly self‑motivated, results‑driven, and proactive
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Comfortable working in a hybrid (remote + in‑office) environment; training on‑site
