Experienced Tooling Engineer Role (Milton)

Join the creative team at Karmax Heavy Stamping as a Tooling Engineer in Milton, Ontario. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on advanced automotive tooling projects and support new product launches. As an experienced Tooling Engineer, you will collaborate with Program Managers to ensure timely delivery and quality of tools and dies. Your responsibilities will cover everything from assessing project timelines to applying your knowledge of CAD and industry standards. You will also be involved in continuous improvement efforts to elevate production processes. Key Responsibilities: • Perform feasibility analysis for new business quotes • Participate in cross-functional die design reviews • Ensure timely delivery through tool shop oversight • Coordinate and support tool tryouts in manufacturing presses • Promote lean initiatives for continuous operational improvements Requirements: • At least 5 years of Tool and Die experience • Proficient with CAD systems and measurement tools • Skilled in project management and leadership • Strong ability to interpret customer specifications • Willingness to travel internationally as needed Bring your engineering skills to Karmax Heavy Stamping and contribute to our innovative automotive solutions.
