In this full-time, unionized position in Ontario, you will engage with various materials while working independently and collaboratively. Your role will involve reading blueprints and executing machining tasks to the highest tolerances, contributing significantly to the shop's operational success and craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:• Setup and operate lathes for machining roles • Perform inspections on journals and roll surfaces • Conduct measuring and tolerance control activities • Fabricate jigs and fixtures as required • Operate cranes and forklifts safely

Requirements:• Previous experience in machining or readiness to train • Ability to interpret blueprints and drawings • Strong focus on detail and safety in production • Proficiency in English and some French • Experience with crane or forklift operation viewed favorably
