Data Center Network Architect (Mirabel)

Job Title: Data Center Network Architect Location: Montreal, Quebec Duration: 6 Months Introduction The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience with a Financial Services Firm, Technology vendor, or systems integrator designing and implementing large-scale networks. Strong experience and hands-on expertise in Data Center Networking (Routing and Switching), SD WAN is mandatory with Cisco certification- CCIE. Required Skills & Qualifications Senior in Network design engineering with more than 12-15 years'' experience Certifications: CCIE or equivalent Ethernet technologies: SPT, 802.1Q, VPC, Multilayer Switching; Leaf-Spine IP Fabric IP Routing: RIP, OSPF, BGP, MPBGP, TCP/IP Multicast routing: PIM, IGMP, MSDP. VxLAN Platform knowledge on Cisco Switching & Routing Platforms - Nexus 9000 Series Data Centre Switching Platform, ASR 1000x Series Routers, ASR 9000 Series Routers Platform Knowledge on Arista Switching platforms Working knowledge on various Network Cisco IOS, IOS-XE, NXOS, IOS-XR, Arista EOS Prior work experience at client or in client''s Industry Preferred Skills & Qualifications Strong security focus and experience with Network Security Concepts and Multi-tier Security architectures Robust presentation skills to explain network design, articulate risk, and facilitate decision-making Ability to work both independently and as a team member Day-to-Day Responsibilities Evaluating, engineering, designing, and troubleshooting enterprise-scale Data Centre networks Authoring design documents, engineering standards, and creating best practice technical architecture models utilizing knowledge of industry and technical trends Mentoring and knowledge transfer to team members across the organization Participating in weekly design meetings Engaging with project managers to develop the execution and test plans for network changes Serving as an escalation point for the operating teams during network outages Company Benefits & Culture Competitive compensation package Opportunities for professional development and career growth Inclusive and dynamic work environment For immediate consideration please click APPLY to begin the screening process with Alex.
