Job Title Process and Performance Engineer Location Mirabel, Quebec, Canada Job Summary The Process and Performance Engineer will lead performance analysis, line balancing (SLB), and improvement roadmaps to optimize series production for the A220 commercial aircraft program. Responsibilities encompass evaluating industrial performance, designing and maintaining SLB for all production configurations, publishing final balancings, performing root cause analyses, proposing actionable improvements, managing operational constraints, and coordinating improvement initiatives with multidisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities - Evaluate and optimize transverse industrial performance using key indicators such as efficiency, production rate, and cycle time. - Design and maintain Standard Line Balancing (SLB) for all production configurations. - Generate and publish final line balancings for each aircraft in production. - Perform root‑cause analyses (e.g., Pareto) for hazards and bottlenecks. - Propose concrete and measurable action plans to improve process efficiency. - Document and manage operational constraints per workstation to optimize planning. - Lead the improvement roadmap and Return of Experience (REX) initiatives with the Manufacturing Engineering MFT team. - Ensure link with upstream and downstream workstations and serve as the point of contact with the Autonomous Production Team (EAP). Qualifications - Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent experience). - Minimum of 3 to 5 years of solid professional experience in an industrial environment, preferably manufacturing or aerospace. - Proficiency in industrial performance concepts, time analysis, and line balancing (SLB). - Demonstrated expertise in production flow modeling (PERT) and root‑cause analysis methods (Pareto). - Rigorous, proactive, with strong analytical and synthesis skills. - Ability to work independently and interact effectively with multidisciplinary teams (production, quality, finance, methods, engineering). - Proficient in French and English. - Awareness of compliance risks and commitment to act with integrity.
