Work location: On the road

Salary: $36.61 hourly / 30 to 36 hours per week

Terms of employment: Permanent employment Full time

Shift: Morning, Day, Evening, To be determined

Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience 1 year to less than 2 years

On the Road Work locations may vary. Frequent or constant travel is required from the employee.

Responsibilities

Check, lubricate, refuel and clean equipment

Report any malfunctions to supervisor

Use maps and other trip planning aids

Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs and any problems

Credentials

Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)

Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles)

Truck or Equipment Experience

Garbage truck

Transportation/Travel Experience

Driving record check (abstract)
