Warehouse Associate (Mission)

Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. This role is vital to the efficient operation of our warehouse, supporting activities such as order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and equipment operation. The ideal candidate will have 2 years warehouse experience, mechanical knowledge, and familiarity with warehouse inventory systems. Prior experience with heavy equipment such as forklifts is highly desirable. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where safety, accuracy, and teamwork are paramount. Duties - Operate heavy equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload materials safely and efficiently - Read work orders, do order picking, packing, and packaging to ensure accurate order fulfillment. - Manage shipping and receiving processes, ensuring proper documentation and inventory control. - Conduct heavy lifting as required for moving products or materials within the warehouse. Must have the ability to lift 50 lbs. - Maintain a clean and organized work setting to promote safety and efficiency - Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning - Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals Qualifications - Previous 2years of warehouse experience preferred, including familiarity with warehouse distribution operations - Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation such as forklifts. - Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks consistently throughout the shift - Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures and order fulfillment processes - Construction or manufacturing experience is a plus but not required - Strong attention to safety protocols when operating heavy machinery or handling materials - Ability to work effectively in a team environment in a fast-paced setting - Valid certification for forklift or crane operation is advantageous but not mandatory This position plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth warehouse operations through efficient handling of goods and equipment.
