Client Service Representative Global X Investments Canada Inc. Location: Toronto, ON Overview: Global X Investments Canada Inc. (“Global X”) is looking for Customer Services Representative (CSR) to join our Sales team. This is an chance to join one of Canada’s most innovative ETF providers. The CSR is an entry-level role responsible for managing our investor phone lines and email inboxes. They receive inbound requests for information, assist investors in learning about Global X ETFs, and provide them with timely, professional and courteous responses leveraging the Global X CRM/technology and access to internal support teams. Working closely with the rest of the sales team, they are a key conduit supporting one of the fastest growing investor segments in the ETF industry. Responsibilities: - Manage incoming investor phone line and email inbox addressing any and all inquiries as quickly as possible; where necessary, source appropriate information from internal teams as required - Identify clients’ needs, clarify requests and provide accurate, valid, and complete information using all available resources - Provide support to the Sales team in various administrative capacities including day-to-day activities as well as all various client-facing requests including outreach, event organization and execution - Maintain and update Global X CRM, knowledge repositories and broadly, keep other interested parts of the organization current on investor sentiment and inquiries - Maintain and update corporate swag Inventory and relevant regulatory reporting supporting the sales organization - Develop and maintain on-the-job skills by regularly updating knowledge about new products in order to represent the company accurately and efficiently in office and Requirements: - Excellent communication skills, specifically written and verbal English; French verbal and written communication skills are considered an asset - Patient, empathetic and passionate personality - Demonstrated customer support experience or experience as a client service representative within the financial industry preferred, though other customer-facing role experience an asset - Strong phone contact handling skills including active listening and the ability to create a positive rapport with clients over the phone - The desire to work within an effective team to scale and grow a successful business - Ability to prioritize, organize and manage time effectively - Good understanding of Canadian Financial Markets, or a demonstrated willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment - Retail trading experience/knowledge is a benefit - Have obtained or are actively pursuing a Canadian Securities Course (CSC) designation - 1+ years’ experience in the financial services industry preferred What We Offer: - Competitive compensation package - A collaborative and supportive work environment - Opportunities for professional development and growth - The opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the financial well-being of Canadian investors This opportunity is for an existing vacancy within the organization. The anticipated annual base salary range for the Client Service Representative position is $50,000 to $60,000. The exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and budget.
