Contract Supervisor, Distribution & Warehouse (Mississauga)

About the Role We are a quick-paced, commercial-scale warehouse and distribution center serving the wine and beverage market. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Contract Warehouse & Distribution Supervisor to lead a team of warehouse staff, ensuring the seamless movement of goods with a focus on compliance, safety, accuracy, and operational efficiency. As the Contract Warehouse & Distribution Supervisor , you will be a hands-on leader responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse and distribution activities. You will drive a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement, while balancing administrative responsibilities and ensuring compliance with internal procedures and external regulations. Key Responsibilities Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff to ensure smooth workflow, productivity, and accuracy. Oversee receiving, storage, order picking, staging, and shipping processes. Ensure proper documentation and inventory control procedures are followed. Monitor and enforce health and safety protocols; conduct regular safety checks and incident reporting. Track KPIs and operational data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Manage scheduling, timekeeping, and administrative documentation for warehouse personnel. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and customer requirements. Conduct regular audits for order accuracy, inventory integrity, and overall process compliance. This will be a 6-month contract Qualifications 2+ years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment. Strong understanding of warehouse processes, inventory systems, and logistics. Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to coach and motivate teams. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with WMS or ERP systems is a plus. Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and best practices. Highly organized with strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Offer Competitive salary in the budget range of $78,200 - $101,200. Commensurate with experience.
