Responsibilities - Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, vacuuming floors, dusting surfaces, and replenishing amenities to uphold high standards of cleanliness. - Maintain public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and breakfast areas by sweeping, mopping, disinfecting surfaces, and ensuring a tidy environment. - Conduct detailed floor care activities including carpet cleaning and polishing to preserve the appearance and safety of all flooring surfaces. - Assist with breakfast service setup by arranging food displays, refilling stations, and ensuring hygiene standards are met throughout service hours. - Follow established janitorial procedures for waste disposal, sanitation practices, and equipment maintenance to ensure a safe and healthy environment. - Support housekeeping management by reporting maintenance issues or supply shortages promptly to ensure smooth daily operations. - Adhere to all safety protocols related to industrial cleaning and custodial tasks while maintaining a positive attitude that encourages teamwork. Skills - Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work or janitorial services with a focus on detailed attention to cleanliness. - Knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning, polishing, and maintenance of various flooring types. - Previous hotel or hospitality experience is highly desirable for understanding guest service standards. - Strong understanding of hospitality principles with an emphasis on guest satisfaction and service excellence. - Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively while following health and safety guidelines. - Experience in industrial cleaning practices or custodial management is a plus for handling larger-scale cleaning projects. - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
