Our client a reputable manufacturer in Mississauga is looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to support full-cycle payroll processing across Canada and the U.S for a 1 year contract. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and ensures accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality in all payroll activities.

What You'll Do:

• Support end-to-end payroll processing (hires, terminations, leaves) using ADP Workforce Now & PowerPay
• Assist with year-end activities (T4s, W-2s, 1099s, statutory filings)
• Administer benefits (enrollments, changes, terminations) and reconcile contributions (RRSP, 401(k), HSA)
• Maintain payroll data, validate employee changes, and ensure compliance
• Prepare payroll journal entries and support audits/reconciliations
• Respond to payroll and benefits-related inquiries

What You Bring:

• 3+ years of payroll experience (Canada & U.S.)
• Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance
• Experience with ADP (Workforce Now/PowerPay); HRIS systems a plus
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
• High attention to detail, strong organization, and confidentiality
• Excellent communication skills
