Responsibilities - Prepare and assemble meals with precision, ensuring adherence to menu specifications and dietary guidelines - Assist in menu planning by suggesting creative dishes and seasonal offerings that delight guests - Handle food safely by following proper storage, sanitation, and hygiene protocols - Support food preparation activities including chopping, cooking, plating, and garnishing to ensure visually appealing presentations - Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations and food storage areas - Serve guests efficiently while providing friendly, professional customer service - Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods and special catering events Qualifications - Prior experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable - Proven background in food industry roles such as restaurant or catering service, with strong kitchen experience - Knowledge of menu planning, food preparation techniques, and culinary principles - Excellent knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation and cooking methods - Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures - Experience working in fine dining environments or with specialized dietary needs is a plus - Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team Join us to bring your culinary talents to life in an energetic setting where your skills make a real difference!
