Security Guard for High-Risk Shelter, Mississauga

Allied Universal seeks a Security Professional - Shelter Security in Mississauga, Ontario. This full-time role involves ensuring safety and security in a high-risk environment.

Ideal candidates will have experience with the Vulnerable Sector and must demonstrate reliability and strong communication skills. In this position, you will manage access control, monitor premises, and respond effectively to emergencies, helping to maintain the shelter’s secure atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:• Conduct routine patrols and monitoring of the site • Ensure high visibility and coverage in sensitive areas • Verify identification and manage visitor access • Respond quickly to emergencies or incidents • Keep accurate logs and documentation of all activities

Requirements:• 1-2 years of relevant security experience • Must hold a valid Ontario Security License • At least 18 years old due to insurance policies • High school diploma or GED minimum • First Aid and CPR certification required
