Overview We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation and cooking, with a passion for delivering excellent food service to our guests.
Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards
Cook menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and quality
Assist in food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation of all food items
Support the kitchen team during busy periods by efficiently managing multiple tasks
Adhere to all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or related roles within a restaurant or food service setting
Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards in the food industry
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation
Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff
Familiarity with restaurant service standards and customer satisfaction principles
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or holidays as needed
