Warehouse Associate (Mississauga)

Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in warehouse distribution, mechanical systems, and logistics management within a fast-paced environment. Prior warehouse experience and familiarity with warehouse management systems are highly valued. Responsibilities - Lumping boxes by hand, building skids, wrapping skids - Assist with order picking, packaging, and order fulfillment processes to ensure timely delivery of products - Manage shipping and receiving activities, including verifying incoming and outgoing shipments - Utilize warehouse management systems - Perform heavy lifting of materials and products while adhering to safety protocols - Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency Qualifications - Strong knowledge of warehouse distribution processes, shipping & receiving procedures, and order picking techniques - Mechanical knowledge or background in manufacturing or construction is a plus - Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) - Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods - Prior experience with order fulfillment, packaging, load & unload operations is preferred - Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow safety guidelines at all times - Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a quick-paced environment This position is integral to maintaining smooth warehouse operations and ensuring customer satisfaction through accurate order processing.
