Landscape labourer (Mississauga)

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Labourer to join our team and contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of outdoor spaces. This role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions, assisting with landscape projects, and ensuring the aesthetic and functional quality of our clients' properties. The ideal candidate will have a passion for gardening, horticulture, and outdoor work, with a focus on delivering high-quality landscape maintenance services. Full time job that csn go into Winter as there is a lot of work to be completed. Ideally, experience of at least 1 year for quicker learning curve if possible. **physical ability to lift 60 lbs for the work required** **Driver's needed** Responsibilities - Assist with planting, pruning, mowing, and general garden care to maintain healthy and attractive landscapes - Operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners to perform various landscaping tasks - Use power tools including trimmers, blowers, and small machinery to support landscape projects/maintenance - Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency - Help with construction tasks such as building lawns, fences or garden beds as needed - Maintain cleanliness of work sites by removing debris and ensuring safety standards are met Skills - Experience with gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is preferred - Mechanical knowledge related to small machinery and power tools is a plu - Familiarity with irrigation systems (if possible) - Robust understanding of construction principles related to outdoor projects - Ability to use hand tools safely and effectively - Knowledge of plant care, pruning techniques, and general landscaping practices - Physical stamina for outdoor work in varying weather conditions and ability to lift heavy materials when necessary This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about outdoor environments and landscape work to develop their skills while contributing to beautiful outdoor spaces.
