Restaurant Server & Bartender (Mississauga)

Job Overview Oversee the service for our guests and ensure a quality dining and bar experience. Provide excellence in guest satisfaction with the highest food and beverage quality standards and service. Maintain clean, sanitary bar and dining areas. Duties and Responsibilities - Be dependable and prompt, arriving on time and ready to work in a clean uniform - Prepare and set up restaurant- and bar for service - Keep all tables cleared and cleaned throughout. - Receive and unpack the items as they arrive from food vendors. Ensure proper rotation of stock. - Greet each guest as they arrive . - Always build rapport with all guests , solving problems when able and reporting any complaints or issues immediately to management for resolution. - Learn about the hotel's guests through conversations - Pass on any sales leads daily that are obtained during discussions with guests to management. - Maintain a clean work area, store food and remove all trash. - Assists department in maintaining safety equipment and emergency procedures for the safety of all guests and employees. - Maintains a friendly, cheerful and courteous manner always. - All other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management. Qualifications and Requirements Education/Experience: - Minimum of 2 year’s work experience in serving, bartending and/or food and hospitality industry is preferred. Skills - Must be efficient and knowledgeable to use POS system - Strong interpersonal and customer service skills are required - Strong oral communication skills are required - Must be energetic, possess good time management skills and eager to grow and develop as part of a team. - Knowledge of preparing cocktails and bar service is required.
