Job Summary: The Server is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a positive dining experience. This role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a quick‑paced restaurant environment. Servers uphold company service standards, maintain cleanliness, and support overall FOH operations. Key Responsibilities Deliver Exceptional Guest Service – Greet guests with valuable energy and a welcoming personality; provide attentive, friendly, and professional hospitality throughout the dining experience. Take and Serve Orders – Accurately record food and beverage orders, coordinate with kitchen and bar staff, and deliver items promptly with proper presentation. Guest Service – Anticipate guest needs, respond quickly to requests, and create a warm, positive atmosphere that makes guests feel valued and encourages repeat visits. Handle Payments and Transactions – Process checks, cash, credit, and digital payments accurately while maintaining POS and cash‑out procedures. Support Cleanliness and Teamwork – Reset tables efficiently, maintain service areas, and collaborate with FOH and BOH staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Qualifications Education and Experience Previous serving or hospitality experience preferred. Experience in a full‑service restaurant or high‑volume workplace is an asset. Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., Smart Serve, TIPS) may be required based on jurisdiction. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to multitask and remain calm in fast‑paced environments. Basic knowledge of food, cocktails, beer, and wine. Proficiency with POS systems and cash‑handling procedures.
