Summer Camp Recreation Supervisor at DBNC, Mississauga

Lead engaging activities for youth as the Summer Camp Recreation Supervisor at Dixie Bloor Neighbourhood Centre. This hands-on role fosters development for children aged 6 to 12 from June 29 to August 21.

As a Summer Camp Recreation Supervisor, you will guide staff and coordinate daily operations to ensure a nurturing environment. Your responsibilities include developing camp activities that enhance social and physical skills. Work closely with the Youth Services Manager to deliver engaging programs and mentor your team.

Key Responsibilities:• Oversee development and evaluation of camp activities • Mentor staff using coaching and feedback • Facilitate daily meetings for effective planning • Support youth leadership and team-building activities • Ensure safety and organization at camp facilities

Requirements:• Actively pursuing or completed post-secondary education • Minimum two years of relevant experience with children • Understanding of youth development principles • Proficient communication skills; bilingual preferred • Strong leadership and teamwork abilities
