Warehouse Associate (Machine Operator) (Mississauga)

SUMMARY

We are recruiting for a full-time general warehouse employee (Machine Operator). The role involves cross‑training to work in order picking / packing. Must have at least two (2) years of previous warehouse experience operating forklift and Raymond Reach machines. The use of RF equipment is a great asset to have but not required. Solid work history preferred. Permanent full‑time position: Monday –Friday – 10:30am – 7:00pm.RESPONSIBILITIES

Certified forklift and Raymond Reach operator. Safely operate a forklift and Raymond Reach to move, stack and retrieve materials within the warehouse. Required to work minimum 50% on machinery. Use of RF equipment. Adhere to all safety regulations, procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.Receive orders according to quantity, size etc. ensuring accuracy. Accurately pick orders in a variety of methods, i.e. RF gun, machine etc. Ability to complete work under general supervision. Follow all company policies, including maintaining good attendance. Use a warehouse management system.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Lift, carry, push, pull, reach, grasp, bend and stack. Stand for long periods of time. Pull merchandise from multiple levels of shelving or move merchandise as needed. Use platform ladders&steppers. Lift up to 50lbs. Specific weight requirement will vary by order. Must be able to see/scan small manufacturer barcodes. BENEFITS
