Key Accountabilities - Provides technical/quality support to teams/projects on a day-to‑day basis involving consultation on complex quality issues to assess risk and impact on product safety, identity, strength, purity and quality. - Acts as an advisor to facilitate sound resolution on a wide range of issues with a diverse group of employees from different business units and different AstraZeneca sites as required. - You have validated skills with office systems, databases and other more complex applications and systems. - You provide timely and detailed assessments to peers and management. - You demonstrate the ability to work independently and in project settings to deliver objectives. - You keep up to date with standard methodologies, industry standards and new developments in quality management. - You lead trouble shooting activities to resolve existing problems, make complicated judgements and anticipate future developments in AstraZeneca’s Quality related needs. - You are responsible for leading Quality Standards and expectations across a broad range of services in order to provide a high quality, timely and cost-effective service. - You ensure optimal performance across team through supporting individual development plans and applying new tools. - You prepare information to discuss, plan and help carry out improvement plans, priority setting, investigation reports, quality or performance improvement recommendations. An ability to seek out, collaborate with and engage customers and partners in the development of solutions is imperative. - You handle and maintain overall assigned quality systems as outlined in current job curricula assignments. The following are examples of the quality systems at a minimum: - Complaints, Issues Management and Recall - Self‑Inspections (QMS Self‑Assessments) - Deviation and CAPA System - Change Management System - Compliance of suppliers and contract providers - Contracts and Agreements - Risk Management - Finished Product Disposition - GMP/GDP Marketing Company Compliance - Stability - Ensures adherence to Quality, Health and Safety, Good Manufacturing Practice, Good Distribution Practice and regulatory requirements of own work and others work Qualifications - University Degree or equivalent skilled qualification in a science or technical field such as Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biology or Engineering - Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, with well‑developed knowledge of quality assurance and compliance - Confirmed ability to effectively work well with foreign and domestic affiliates, and 3rd party contractors. - Strong communication, organizational and influencing skills - Strong ethical mindset and concern for standards Great People want to Work with us! Annual base salary for this position ranges from 88,296.80 to 115,889.55. AstraZeneca is committed to providing fair and equitable compensation opportunities to all colleagues.
