Proposal Specialist (Mississauga)

What You Will Be Doing The Proposal Specialist is responsible for coordinating and managing the proposal process with the goal of obtaining project wins. This role involves collaborating with various teams to produce high-quality proposals that effectively communicate the company's capabilities and achievements. The Proposal Specialist plays a crucial role in raising the company's profile and driving client engagement through well-crafted proposals. - Coordinating the proposal process following standard procedures, including planning, reviewing, designing, and production of company-branded proposals. - Collaborating with the Estimating Team, Project Executives, Project Managers, and relevant consultants in the proposal preparation process. - Managing proposals from start to finish to ensure a competitive and winning response. - Gathering and researching information to include in proposals, such as resumes and project summaries. - Reviewing, organizing, and editing written documentation to improve clarity. - Providing final quality control checks with the Director of Estimating, including proofreading for grammar, RFP compliance, and conformance to established strategies and plans. - Tracking and maintaining communication among all team members. - Assisting with developing overall proposal strategy to be compliant with the RFP/RFI requirements. - Updating leads, resumes, project descriptions, and text libraries in the marketing database/bid submission library. - Performing other duties as assigned. What You Will Bring - At least three (3) years of proposal coordination/preparation experience. - Marketing, graphic design, and visual communication assets. - Proficiency using InDesign and Adobe Creative Suite. - Experience in the construction industry is an asset. - Experience with marketing professional services and familiarity with industry terms, contracts, deliverables, RFP, and proposal processes. - A sense of aesthetics and a love for great copy and enticing communication. - A self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities and possession of strong organizational skills. - Knowledge and experience with office procedures, systems, and protocols. - Strong communication, writing, and computer skills. - Ability to independently manage a challenging workload when faced with unexpected changes in priorities and deadlines. Pay Transparency Salary: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00. The posted salary range reflects the expected base pay for this role.
