Marketing Assistant: Part-Time (Mississauga)

A Marketing Associate at Maple Leaf Foods will manage a portfolio within the Wieners & Sausage business unit, working closely with an experienced Marketing leader and your direct manager to map out and execute category strategy. The role balances creative skills with critical thinking, project management, and performance measurement. You’ll build a career in CPG marketing and contribute to the company’s growth. Leverage data from Nielsen and internal sources to provide category share and financial reporting, including weekly, monthly, and annual rhythms and ad‑hoc analyses. Commercialize new product innovations, acting as project manager and collaborating with cross‑functional stakeholders (product development, finance, revenue management, operations, packaging, graphics, purchasing) to ensure on‑time launches. Post‑secondary degree in Business or Marketing. 1‑3 years of experience in marketing, sales, advertising, finance, category management, or analytics roles within consumer packaged goods or grocery industry. Analytical and critical‑thinking skills, with ability to organize and interpret data, synthesize insights, and consider business implications. Project‑management experience, highly organized and detail oriented, with strong time‑management skills. Experience with P&Ls; and PowerBI is an asset. 71,000 – $103,000 CAD base pay annually plus an annual short‑term incentive. Base salary may vary based on skills, experience, education, and other factors, and part‑time roles are adjusted according to scheduled hours. Defined Contribution Pension Plan with company matching.
