Role Description We are seeking a full-time Line Cook for our Mississauga, ON location. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing meals in adherence to dietary requirements, maintaining a clean and effective kitchen, following food safety regulations, and ensuring a high standard of food presentation. The role involves assisting in meal planning, inventory management, and supporting the dietary needs of residents with a focus on nutrition and overall well-being. As an on-site role, you will play a vital part in creating a positive dining experience for our residents. Qualifications Experience in food preparation, cooking, and meal presentation Knowledge of dietary requirements, food safety, and sanitation procedures Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Effective time management skills Culinary training or equivalent experience in a healthcare or hospitality setting Ability to adapt to resident dietary preferences and restrictions Positive attitude with a focus on supporting the well-being of residents Previous experience in a long-term care setting is an asset Food Handler’s Certification is preferred Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2ps0ea
