Senior Geotechnical Engineer (Mississauga)

Support the goals of the geotechnical team, monitoring and managing operational responsibilities of the staff within the group Senior supervision of coordination and execution of field work associated with our geotechnical services Preparation and/or review of geotechnical reports Management of project financials and schedules Communication with clients to assist with the development and execution of work Proposal preparation and/or review Ensuring high-quality technical work, including field methodology, reporting, and client deliverables Fostering an atmosphere of continuous improvement through on-the-job coaching and guidance to junior and intermediate geotechnical staff Supporting and/or developing Health and Safety programs Collaborate with other disciplines at EnVision with respect to multidisciplinary projects Travel to sites within the Greater Toronto Area and Ontario, as needed Any other functions assigned as part of your employment Qualifications

A degree in Geotechnical, Civil, or Geological engineering Ontario licensed P.Eng. 10‑15 years of prior consulting experience working in the field of geotechnical discipline Proven success in client relationship management and strong leadership skills Comfortable interacting with the public, clients, contractors, and co‑workers Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively, and to proactively respond to time-sensitive issues Excellent English (verbal/written) communication skills Flexibility, adaptability, and willingness to learn and teach The salary for this position will be commensurate with the years of relevant experience and qualifications that the successful candidate brings to the role.
