Description
Our client in the Fintech space is seeking a Lead Architect to evolve its core technology architecture across cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, data platforms, and AI-enabled systems. Location: Remote Responsibilities - Define and evolve the long-term platform architecture across cloud services, APIs, data infrastructure, and AI systems. - Collaborate with product and engineering leadership to align architectural strategy with business goals. - Guide technology decisions balancing performance, maintainability, security, and future growth. - Drive the design of scalable, secure, and reliable distributed systems, including integrations and data pipelines. - Lead architectural reviews and establish reference patterns, proofs of concept, and engineering standards. - Partner with data and machine-learning teams to shape next-generation AI-ready infrastructure. - Mentor senior engineers and technical leads, and help shape the engineering culture and technical hiring. Requirements - 15+ years in software engineering with at least 5+ in senior or architectural leadership roles. - Solid expertise in cloud-native platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), distributed systems, and large-scale architectures. - Solid understanding of data systems, data modeling, APIs, and experience with integrating AI/ML systems is highly valued. - Experience shaping standards, reference architectures, and scalable patterns that improve velocity and quality.
