We are currently looking for a creative and passionate Leisure Coordinator who wants to offer an exceptional experience to our residents. Location Name: Les Tours Angrignon Location City: LaSalle Job Status: Permanent: Full Time Job Schedule: Day time Hours per week: 40 Purpose of the position Located in Lasalle, the Les Tours Angrignon residence managed by Cogir, offers a friendly atmosphere where it is stimulating to work. We have a dedicated and caring team for independent elderly people with a slight loss of autonomy. Permanent full-time position, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday and weekends as needed. Permanent full-time day position, available from 7 to 6:30 for 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday, and rare weekends if necessary. Specifically, your daily life with us will look like: Welcome the residents and invite them to participate in the activities Animate and oversee supervision during the activities Decorating the premises for special events Manage the logistics pertaining to the activities Regularly validate that activities correspond to the needs and desires of the residents and collaborate with the different departments of the residence to facilitate tasks Plan the activities calendar Promote activities related to the residents Write the in house newspaper as needed and take residents'' registrations for the various activities Lead exercise sessions for residents The ideal person has: Good judgment and priority management Positive sense of organization Team spirit Demonstrates integrity, empathy and autonomy Versatility Sense of planning Sense of responsibility, autonomy and punctuality Required qualifications: Collect degree in recreation (DEC) or other related field Experience in managing activities related to older people (an asset) Knowledge of seniors residences, a major asset What will you be offered: Computer is provided Free parking Sick days and time off for family obligations Employee Assistance Program Vacation Social Club activities, gifts and substantial discounts Human management approach Challenging opportunities, up to your ambitions!
