Dialogue Staff Full Stack Software Developer (Montreal)

We are currently partnering with a well-established Quebec-based organization operating in the field of smart mobility and digital platforms, looking to add a Senior Software Developer – Backend / Cloud Native to its growing technology team. The environment is modern and highly focused on APIs, microservices, event-driven architecture, and cloud-native technologies. The team works on critical large-scale platforms leveraging Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, Azure/GCP, as well as several DevOps and observability tools. We are looking for an autonomous and versatile professional who is passionate about contemporary backend development, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and scalable platform engineering. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain modern backend APIs and microservices in a cloud-native environment Participate in the architecture, design, and delivery of complex enterprise software solutions Contribute to the implementation and improvement of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Deploy and maintain containerized services within Kubernetes environments Support and troubleshoot complex production and operational issues in high-availability systems Profile 5 to 10+ years of experience in backend software development Strong expertise with C#, modern .NET, REST APIs, and microservices architecture Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure or GCP cloud environments Solid understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases, API security, and DevOps/SRE best practices Experience working in cloud-native, distributed, or high-availability environments Strong analytical, problem-solving, and autonomous mindset French fluency (spoken and written) is mandatory Nice to Have Experience with Kafka, Event Hub, Service Bus, or other event-driven platforms Experience with API Gateway technologies such as Kong, Apigee, Traefik, or similar Knowledge of observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or OpenTelemetry Experience working in transactional, scalable, or mission-critical cloud environments Knowledge of mobility platforms or standards such as GTFS, SIRI, or GBFS Employment Details Permanent full-time position (37.5 hours/week) Annual salary between $110,000 and $120,000 Hybrid work model (office located in downtown Montreal) Flexible working hours Comprehensive group insurance and retirement plan Health spending account Employer-paid OPUS public transit pass Up to 4 weeks of vacation 5 sick days 5 personal/floating days Extended holiday break during the Christmas season Reimbursement for training and professional certifications Modern technology environment and collaborative team And much more! *We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
