We're currently looking for an experienced, charismatic, and energetic Server/Barista to join our growing weekend team. What We're Looking For We're searching for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and isn't afraid to get their hands dirty when needed. You should have a positive attitude, strong customer service skills, and be comfortable around dogs of all breeds and sizes. Responsibilities - Provide warm, friendly, and effective service to all guests (humans and pups!) - Take customer orders and process payments - Prepare specialty coffees, cocktails, and other beverages - Assist with food service and customer experience - Help maintain cleanliness throughout the café - Support opening and closing duties - Occasionally assist with cleaning up after dogs if needed (rare during service) - Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth daily operations Requirements - Minimum 1 year of experience in a busy café, restaurant, or hospitality setting - Barista and beverage preparation experience required - Comfortable working around dogs of all sizes - Strong communication and customer service skills - Reliable, energetic, and team-oriented - Detail-oriented with a positive attitude - Available Friday through Sunday - Shift start time approximately 9:40 AM until closing (typically 4:00–4:30 PM, later on busy days) - English and French Required Compensation & Benefits - Competitive hourly wage - 100% of tips go directly to staff - Servers receive 70% of the pooled tip share - 15% employee discount on dog daycare services at Doggieville MTL - Free in office parking - Invitations to company events and team celebrations - Flexible and supportive work environment - Work alongside fellow dog lovers every day Why Join Ruby Café MTL?
