Senior Industrial Process Engineer (Montreal)

Overview Please note that this job posting is intended to build a candidate pool for future needs. AtkinsRéalis is currently seeking a Senior Industrial Process Engineer for its Montreal office. Your Role As a Senior Industrial Process Engineer, you will: - Determine specific project requirements, establish the scope of work, and identify steps and timelines for completion; - Perform design and calculations related to project needs; - Provide technical support to other project managers when required; - Draft specifications and technical reports; - Coordinate between various stakeholders, both internal (AtkinsRéalis) and external (clients and other engineering firms); - Represent the company to the client; - Provide technical expertise to clients; - Offer technical support during construction work; - Perform any other tasks related to these functions. About You - Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related field; - Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in heavy industrial processes; - Member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ); - Robust knowledge of the industrial sector; - Ability to meet specified budgets, schedules, and quality requirements for projects and the company; - Proficiency in process flow diagrams (PFD), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID;), and heat and material balances (HMB); - Knowledge and experience in risk studies (HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA, What-If); - Asset: Knowledge of renewable energy processes (hydrogen production, carbon capture).
