POSITION DESCRIPTION: We are looking for a server to join our dining room team. Permanent part-time position, day shift. ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in ensuring resident and staff safety in the dinning room by enforcing compliance with health and safety standards Bring plates to tables and provide personalized service Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure good teamwork Contribute to the teams efforts to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dinning room(s) Greet clients and orient new residents by proposing their seat at an appropriate table Greet residents in the dining room and ensure they are comfortable Manage guests' reservations and ensure their comfort Perform other related duties Take orders, noting specific requests and following-up with the kitchen staff EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: 1 year of relevant experience will be considered an important asset Positive team player Good communication Knowledge of senior residences, a major asset BENEFITS: Free meals Free parking Uniform provided Sick days and time off for family obligations Vacation Social leave Free coffee, tea and herbal tea A welcoming and tight-knit team!
