What Part Will You Play? - Works in partnership with the Senior Director and Managers in Strategic Alliances group on various initiatives and partnerships. Provides support of on‑going management and maintenance of Strategic Alliances/Partner programs. - Drives operational deliverables, using and creating necessary tools to ensure success. - Supports the management of selective Strategic Alliance Partners (SAPs) in delivering products to clients, including leading and managing partner management staff, developing and maintaining relationships with supplier executives, negotiating supplier contracts, leading and managing vendor management controls, and optimizing business opportunities with third‑party supplier partners. - Works with assigned SAPs in adherence with regulatory requirements and the TSYS Supplier Manager Oversight Program. Works with TSYS Procurement, Legal, Finance, Product Management, and Corporate Strategy & Development to actively and aggressively manage all aspects of the vendor relationship from onboarding, through renewals, negotiations and replacement strategies and/or retirement, vendor performance, and tracking contractual obligations of information security, financial viability, BC/DR, performance, insurance and other monitoring activities. - Supports SAPs and TSYS Executive, Product Management, and Strategy teams to create and manage mutually agreeable roadmaps for success over the next 3‑5 years, and work to ensure that partners are tracking to plan. - Supports due diligence and the planning and implementation of strategic business development objectives, major segment initiatives, and key partnerships and alliances pursuant to the mid‑ to long‑range strategic plans of the segment and enterprise. Develops relationships with business leaders internal and external. - Helps maintain an executive plan (playbook) for each SAP to include briefings of the partnership and product offering(s), strategic plans that align with the global team overall roadmap, and revenue forecast (legacy and recent). - Works with product managers, sales, relationship management teams, consultants, and internal and external partners to align growth strategies, product marketing positioning objectives, pricing strategies, partnerships, communications, industry events, and or strategies for products and services. - Participates in identifying key business opportunities through current or prospective SAPs, supports the refinement of strategies, and highlights current technologies, partnerships, and start‑ups that result in the development and delivery of new products and services. Advises the company on its ability to improve current solutions and processes, provides innovative new solutions in a timely manner to drive the success of our clients and their customers, and conducts complex analysis of data, requests, and facts. - Solves moderately complex problems, which typically deviate from established procedures. - Proactively builds relationships and facilitates productive round‑table discussions with critical divisions and/or segment third‑party vendors, suppliers and business partners to build strategic relationships to address supplier issues, internal stakeholder relationships and contract renewal negotiations. Reviews maintenance agreements for additional cost‑saving opportunities and conducts analysis to create negotiation strategies to approach contract renewal with highly dependent and concentrated suppliers. - Manages partner performance through all verticals of the enterprise and its affiliates, and recommends process improvements to senior leadership team. - Not an exhaustive list; other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree. - Relevant experience or degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field from an accredited university; relevant experience in lieu of a degree may be considered. - Typically a minimum of 6 years. - Experience in partnerships management, preferably in the Fintech industry. Preferred Qualifications - Master’s Degree. - Computer Science or an equivalent field from an accredited university.
