Description
Reporting to the Sales Director, the Field Sales Representative will be responsible for representing the company to the clients assigned to them. This person will play a key role in promoting our heating solutions and developing lasting relationships with our partners. Working closely with department members, the incumbent will need to understand and effectively meet the needs of their clients, while serving as an ambassador for our expertise in the HVAC/heating field. Responsibilities - Identify, prioritize, and solicit potential clients. - Present product applications for use in HVAC systems using formal catalog or audio/visual presentation. - Actively participate in meetings to establish closing strategies for key projects. - Evaluate client needs and resources and recommend appropriate goods and services. - Perform project estimating, analyze drawings and specifications, identify products for bidding on plans, select products in manufacturers' pricing software, and prepare bids to be sent to contractors. - Acquire technical knowledge necessary to represent the products. - Prepare purchasing and pre‑purchase documents. - Communicate with customers to resolve post‑sale issues and ensure follow‑up. - Coordinate with product managers and technical support department. Qualifications - Diploma in building mechanic with experience in the field of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning. - Experience in technical sales. - General knowledge of building mechanics. - Contact network in HVAC‑R is an undeniable asset. - Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team. - Bilingualism (French/English) – required to interact on a regular basis with internal and/or external Master Group collaborators across the country.
