We are looking for an Insurance Broker - Personal Lines (Client Service Representative) to join our team in our Montreal office! As a member of our Montreal office, you will be responsible for working closely with the Client Executive to achieve the company’s objectives and deliver high‑quality service to clients, colleagues, and insurers. Your Day as a Client Service Representative - Request and follow up with insurers and/or clients for outstanding information, endorsements or policy documentation. - Prepare proposals for renewals and new business. - Respond to telephone calls and written inquiries from clients and underwriters. - Work with the Client Executives and Client Service Managers in negotiating with insurers and/or changes, renewals and new business where applicable. - Review policy wordings and other documentation for accuracy and completeness and as required, notes and corrects errors. - Create abeyance and follow up for outstanding items from underwriters, markets and clients. - Market own new business and renewals when necessary. - Monitor and follow up on outstanding client’s receivables. - Create and streamline processes. - Responsible for monthly Bordeaux, where required. - Invoice and manage receivables. - Other miscellaneous duties and special projects as required. Our Ideal Candidate - Minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance brokerage. - University degree in business or finance or a DEC in Insurance and financial services. - Personal lines Insurance broker's license issued by the AMF. - Knowledge of Intact, Chubb, Aviva, L’Unique, and Economical Portal Systems is an asset. - Good knowledge of various markets and their policy wordings. - Bilingual with strong verbal and written communication skills in French and in English as the candidate will be required to interact in English with colleagues and clients. - Valuable knowledge of the MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, and Word). - Solid analytical and problem‑solving skills. - Effective time management and organizational skills.
