Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. This role involves preparing meals according to recipes and standards, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and ensuring food safety protocols are followed. The Line Cook will play a vital role in creating a positive dining experience for our guests through quality meal preparation and efficient service. Responsibilities - Prepare and cook menu items with precision, adhering to recipes and presentation standards - Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations - Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures to ensure hygiene standards are met - Serve dishes promptly and accurately to ensure customer satisfaction - Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours - Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for restocking supplies - Support the overall cleanliness of the kitchen environment, including dishwashing and waste disposal Requirements - Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service within a restaurant or food industry setting - Knowledge of food handling safety protocols and proper sanitation practices - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail - Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and culinary standards - Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers - Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is mandatory; willingness to learn is essential - Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays as needed Join our team as a Line Cook if you are passionate about culinary arts, committed to food safety, and eager to contribute to an exceptional dining experience.
