Analyste Financier / Financial Analyst (Montreal)

We are looking for a Financial Analyst to support the Controller in managing the financial operations of a manufacturing plant. This role plays a key part in month-end close, financial reporting, cost analysis, and strengthening financial processes, systems, and controls. Responsibilities - Support timely and accurate month-end and quarter-end close - Analyze manufacturing costs (materials, labor, variances, efficiencies) - Monitor job costing and investigate cost variances - Reconcile balance sheet accounts, bank accounts, and intercompany transactions - Manage inventory analysis, cycle counts, and provisions - Maintain fixed assets, CAPEX, accruals, prepaid expenses, and payroll entries - Prepare financial reports, consolidation packages, and management analysis - Handle sales tax reporting and audit support - Identify and implement process improvements Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA an asset) - 5+ years of experience in financial analysis and month-end close - Manufacturing environment experience - Strong Excel skills and ERP system experience - Bilingual ( divisions outside Quebec) Profile - Detail-oriented, analytical, and organized - Strong communicator with high integrity - Able to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment - Team player with a hands-on, proactive mindset - Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Health Benefits to support your well-being - Bonus – Annual bonus opportunities based on Company performance and/or Individual goals - Team-oriented Culture – A workplace built on communication, integrity, excellence, respect, and teamwork. - Work-Life Balance – Support for a healthy balance between work and life.
