Instructor - Drafting - Continuing Education Contract - CADD 120 - Computer-Aided Drafting Online Job ID: ESC07131 Location: Saskatchewan Polytechnic Moose Jaw Campus Contract: 07/01/2026 to 06/30/2027 Contract Rate: $65/hr Closing Date: 06/08/2026 Course Dates - Fall 2026 date TBD - January 4 – February 22, 2027 - March 29 – May 17, 2027 Job Duties - Instruct computer-aided design and drafting skills to students. - Prepare for and use appropriate delivery methods for instructional assignments. - Manage classroom/lab/activities to ensure an optimum learning environment for students. - Use appropriate methods of evaluating and recording student progress. - Make necessary curriculum adjustments to course content. - Accommodate students with special learning needs. - Attend staff, program and division meetings. - Pursue professional development opportunities to stay current with industry and educational requirements. - Practice good interpersonal and communication skills. - Work cooperatively in an interdependent “team” setting. - Follow any academic regulations and/or policies adopted by Saskatchewan Polytechnic. Qualifications - Two‑year engineering technology diploma in Drafting, Mechanical, Architectural, or CAD/CAM, including an advanced CAD drafting course. - Autodesk Certified Instructor. - Two years of recent/relevant business/industry experience (within the last five years).
