Health Educator in Swift Current

Drive health initiatives with Swift Current Community Services as a Health Educator. This full-time role focuses on community health promotion strategies and the social determinants of health.

The Health Educator will develop and assess population health activities while partnering with Saskatchewan Health Authority. Candidates will work on healthy public policy, strengthen community action, and enhance health service orientation. The role requires analytical, critical thinking, and presentation skills to effectively create supportive environments for public health.

Key Responsibilities:• Develop and implement health promotion activities • Advise on public policy and population health strategies • Collaborate with community partners for outreach efforts • Evaluate the effectiveness of health programs • Strengthen departmental understanding of health promotion

Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in Community Development or related field • Excellent analytical and communication skills • Knowledge of health promotion and prevention strategies • Ability to be flexible and change-oriented • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
