Position #: 098680 Expected Start Date: July 06, 2026 Union: HSAS Facility: Swift Current Community Services City/Town: Swift Current Department: Population Health Promotion Type: Full-time regular FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days Number of Hours per Rotation: 224 hours per 6 weeks Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: Field Hours Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Health Educator - Staff $36.518 to $44.655 Travel Required: Yes Job Description: The Health Educator develops, implements and evaluates broad strategies to create the conditions that support health, including the social determinants of health, for citizens of Saskatchewan. This position develops population-based health promotion activities including: the development of healthy public policy, creating supportive environments, strengthening community action, and re-orienting health services. This person works in partnership with other Saskatchewan Health Authority departments and community partners to help set the direction for population health promotion activities and will advise and influence the Population Health Department regarding population health promotion issues and opportunities. The Health Educator - Staff builds capacity of Population and Public Health to understand population health promotion and connections to their own work.
