Key Responsibilities:• Design and debug embedded firmware for microcontrollers • Optimize firmware for real-time navigation and telemetry • Implement communication protocols for sub-sea environments • Conduct hardware-in-the-loop testing and diagnostics • Create firmware design documentation and user manuals
Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related • 7+ years in embedded firmware development with C++ • Familiarity with Git, Python, and Agile practices • Experience in subsea systems or oceanographic instrumentation • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
